2016

Ms Caley & Mrs O will be testing for 4th degree on the 10th of December!
Watch this space for news from the Senior Dan Grading in Wellington in less than two weeks!

Ms Caley & Mr Ellis off to World Cup in BUDAPEST!

These two fine examples of Taekwon-Do jetted themselves off to Hungary after many, many months of training and fundraising to get there.  Both gave really hearty performances but sadly neither came home with a medal this time, with Ms Caley being eliminated from the patterns division one round before the medals by the eventual gold medalist from England.  We are so proud of both of these athletes and very smug indeed to have them as valued members of our instructing team.

WELCOME TO OUR NEWEST MEMBER (AGAIN!)
Seems like it wasn't that long ago that we posted this headline!  Dominic Michael Oliver was born two weeks early, to Mr & Mrs O on the 28th January, weighing in at a healthy 6lb 14oz.  Mr & Mrs Oliver will be taking some time off in the beginning part of 2016.  Mr O will likely be away for a while on babysitting duty while Mrs O will be looking to return to training in March/April to prepare for her 4th dan grading!

PULSE TKD WINS BEST CLUB AT REGIONAL TOURNAMENT
We are very humbled to bring home the Best Club trophy from the Regional Tournament in Nelson this year.  We had a really cool team come away with us for this event and everyone had a wonderful time.  We had a number of new members joining us on this trip which made for some great bonding and some brilliant new friendships cemented.  Well done to everyone and thanks so much to Mr Aaron Williams and the team at Nelson TKD for putting on a great event.
